i haave 2 cockteils and i had no idea i had male and female to begin
with then the one i thought was male turned out to be female. they
started mating so i got a book and a nest box and begin to read up now
these cockateils wasnt tame when i got them and i know that wasnt good
, but i would like for the babies to be hand tame and friendly i have
considered hand feeding or maybe if there is something esle i can do so
these baby birds will be people friendly since the parents rather not
have nothing to do with me at all but hiss and want to bit me - they
layed the frist egg on nov 30th and i wasnt planing on this i just
didnt want them to lay eggs on the cage floor so i got the box

What are your birds' names? - I finally came up with a name for my new budgie, and wondered what everyone else's birds are named. I'll start. My tiels are Mollie (short for Molotov Cockatiel) and Mel. The budgies are MacDaddy and Rico. What about you? Laurie

Why do you keep birds? - Some 'men' keep them because birds do not have breasts. Apparently a childhood trauma has made them afraid.

Birds and Acid - Never saw any chickens but every car looked like a cop car. Beaver pelts and brand new cars. Oak tree you're in my way....

Bathing With Birds - I have a pet turkey. When I shower with it he tends to prod his entire head and neck in my buttockial region. Is this OK, and will I need to get a permit if I live in the USA? Beaver pelts and brand new cars. Oak tree you're in my way....

Birds And Slacks - If I have extra pairs of slacks around, but my pet turkey has too short of legs to use them, should I get another bird? I don't want to throw these slacks out. I was thinking maybe an ostrich? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Beaver pelts and..
